Who we are and the standards we work by
True accountability requires the 2x2 church to fully acknowledge its role in the sexual abuse crisis, both institutionally and individually. It also requires that those who have harmed children or vulnerable adults are held accountable through the criminal justice system where appropriate, or through other lawful and appropriate community or restorative processes when applicable.
2x2 Church Accountability documents allegations of sexual abuse, sexual misconduct, and related misconduct involving members of the 2x2 church, along with reported responses by church leadership. Our reporting is based on court records, public records, news reports, interviews, tips, and other documented sources, and is prepared using investigative and journalistic standards.
Our team includes private investigators, retired FBI agents, and a corrections counselor with more than 60 years of combined investigative experience. We believe that responsibly documenting allegations, legal proceedings, institutional responses, and confirmed findings can help support survivors, promote transparency, inform the public, and contribute to the prevention of future abuse.

We do not determine whether any allegation is true, nor do we make findings of guilt, liability, or wrongdoing regarding any individual or organization. Information published on this website is provided for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as a judicial finding, legal determination, or definitive statement of fact.
Where possible, we distinguish between allegations, criminal charges, civil claims, convictions, admissions, settlements, and verified findings, and we strive to clearly identify the status of each matter.
Under U.S. law and many other legal systems, individuals accused of criminal conduct are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Likewise, civil liability exists only where it has been established through the applicable legal process.

2x2 Church Accountability is committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. If we become aware of information that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, we will:
Review
Begin reviewing reported concerns within seven business days. This may include examining original source material, consulting additional public records, or requesting clarification from relevant parties.
Correct
If an error is confirmed, update the content promptly and include a correction note identifying the date and nature of the change.
Remove
Remove or substantially revise information when it is determined to be unreliable, unsupported, or demonstrably inaccurate, or when continued publication presents a compelling legal or ethical reason to do so. When appropriate, we will explain why material has been removed or substantially revised.
We welcome information from survivors, witnesses, readers, and others who may have relevant information or concerns regarding published content.
Requests for corrections, supporting documentation, or additional information may be submitted to info@2x2CA.org. All submissions are reviewed carefully and, when appropriate, handled confidentially.
